not being smart but why do you own 5 versions of a film that you believe to be shit? if you were a jet li completist i could understand having one but 5 how many copies do you keep of films you actually like?

If it doesn't pinkify and isn't cropped, then it should be good looking. I hope their subtitles are better too.
I hope the Fist of Legend is much better than this TBH, it's not a particularly good transfer, the detail is too poor. Might be down to incompetent camera work or poor source material (maybe same masters as the even softer Dimension release), both of which we know is not a problem with Fist of Legend.
If DD's is a Golden Harvest print, that might explain the shitty title card. I remember seeing the Miramax version of Wheels on Meals with a simular shitty title card.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
It doesnt matter Brad but someone said the DD DVD was 'from a GH print so that explains the shitty title card' but just wondering why GH cards looked that way

Agreed, most definitely. I couldn't believe quite how bad it is. The only thing going for the Remastered DVD is the removable subs, otherwise give me the original DVD.

I just thought that the English title card looked very generic and shitty like GH's export print of Wheels on Meals that Miramax used. If DD's version of TCM was indeed inherited from Miramax, that could be why there's a shitty English title card instead of the original. Just a thought.
