You gotta teach these people a lesson, or else they'll never learn.
I was doing this guy a favour.
Maybe one day he'll say "hey, that nice bearded gentleman who gave me a headbutt saved me. I don't believe in God anymore, I'm cured!".

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Beards usually grow on the chin, not on the forehead, Romero...romerojpg wrote:If you had a beard on your head, you would have bounced off him.
Usually, people tend to headbutt with the forehead, as opposed to headbutting with the chin, or ear, nose....
...for quite obvious reasons btw.
I dont like religion, but I certainly wouldnt headbutt someone politely asking me to share their 'knowledge' with me. It's only about once or twice a year anyway, so those 10 seconds dont bother me that much.
I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

@Mark:
I doubt he'll call the police.
But if he does, I'll tell them he was harassing me (which is 100% true).
I'm not worried at all.
The local policemen know me. They know I'm a bit touchy regarding certain things.

Oh, I forgot:
There's a sign on my door that says "No advertising please."
So the guy knew what he was in for.
On a normal day, I'd have told him to get stuffed.
I do regret it, now. Honestly.
I've got a big orange bump on my forehead, just below the hairline.
Makes me look like a Halloween decoration.

Was too sleepy to be thinking straight.Brad wrote:Why not just yell at him and shut the door?

On a related note ('No it isnt you dope!')...
Check out this review for the blu-ray of Behind the Yellow Line: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.ph ... how=review
... and ofcourse, in particular, this part:
Is wikipedia really that hard to look up stuff and check it, before you write it down!?

Uhmmm....It isn’t difficult to tell why Behind the Yellow Line became quite the success story in its native Hong Kong. Back in 1984 the then 20-year old Miss Hong Kong Pageant first runner-up Maggie Cheung was looking for a way to break into the film industry and at the time her sex appeal seemed like the perfect talent to have and with a bit of luck a less than extraordinary romantic story with enough predictable twists to make you dizzy proved to be the winning ticket. The rest of course is history - Maggie went on to marry her co-star Leslie Cheung and twenty years later won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in Olivier Assayas’ Clean (2004).

Leslie almost married Teresa Mo before he turned gay, but Maggie Cheung?
I don't think there's ever been anything between them.

Going from door to door to sell your religion IS rude.
If muslims started doing this in the west, they'd get shot in the face.
"-Salaam Alaikum, my friend. Have you found Allah yet?
-Honey, there's a terrorist at our door. Throw me the shotgun!"
So why is it okay for Jehovah's witnesses?

I already knew that but then you're an ignorant fuck, who thinks violence is the answer to everything. I already knew I bothered you, change the record. It's nothing new to anyone.Tigercage wrote:You bother me and if you were on my door step i would step on your neck!!
True but you need to put it in perspective. Violence is over the top for the level of rudeness inflicted upon you.tom2681 wrote:Going from door to door to sell your religion IS rude.
Like I said you should've at most yelled at him and slammed the door in his face. If it were me I'd have gone straight to the police.
Only by people who should be in jail.tom2681 wrote:If muslims started doing this in the west, they'd get shot in the face.
I once was approached by a Christian (possibly a Jehovah's Witness) and politely said I wasn't interested. They then politely walked away. Simple.
If your one was being awkard that would still be no reason to smack them. I'm not saying violence is never the answer but knocking on your door and bothering you isn't a good enough reason for it.
