Natural Born Killers US Blu-ray
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/375/nat ... llers.html
It's the R-rated cut, so I will be giving that a miss and sticking with my DC DVD for now.

Reeves has his moments.
He was good in 'Speed', 'A Walk in the Clouds', and 'The Gift'.
Probably a few others...
But far too often he's a plank of wood, and in Point Break he's outclassed at every turn by Swayze and Busey.
Someone should've told him not to act like a stoned surfer dude BEFORE he's playing the undercover role.
And he was awful in The Matrix. I swear he has one facial expression throughout the entire Trilogy.

A Scanner Darkly is animated you fool, it doesn't count in the sense I meant it.EvaUnit02 wrote:A Scanner Darkly. Good work with that blanket statement.
Do you always have to be so condescending? It's really hard to reply to you at times. I always risk a patronising tone. No doubt you'll say I'm just being ignorant, something remarkably we all are at times, including you!
It's as likely as you saying you never read user comments or reviews, before passing comment on a film. Oh wait you doromerojpg wrote:I am sure Brad has seen all of Keanu's films, about as likley as him getting HD quickly back in the day
Obviously I didn't it mean literally

Yes, I am saying that haha. He didn't provide his voice for the film, the whole film was filmed and then drawn over.bradavon wrote:Acting is more than speech, or are you saying in the case of A Scanner Darkly the producers drew the animation over the top off Keanu Reeves's acting? If so, I guess it counts.

Honestly brad, you try and make a point about not being more ignorant than any other member on these boards, and here you are not even knowing a bleedin' rotoscoped film when you see one!bradavon wrote:Acting is more than speech, or are you saying in the case of A Scanner Darkly the producers drew the animation over the top off Keanu Reeves's acting? Huh?Shingster wrote:Honestly brad, you try and make a point about not being more ignorant
I was having a go "at Eva" for constantly calling me ignorant, that's quite different.
You maybe talking about an entire industry, everyone else was talking about Keanu ReevesEvaUnit02 wrote:A Scanner Darkly aside, trust fucking Bradavon to write off an entire industry of talented actors.

That is one fucking insulting generalisation and it's completely wrong. The emotion instilled by actors such as Jennifer Hale or Grey DeLisle into their performances and the sheer range that they possess is more than enough proof that you have no fucking clue. Do some homework and think long and hard before making such pigshit ignorant statements in future.bradavon wrote:Ah, you can't weasel your way out of this one.Shingster wrote:You maybe talking about an entire industry, everyone else was talking about Keanu ReevesEvaUnit02 wrote:A Scanner Darkly aside, trust fucking Bradavon to write off an entire industry of talented actors..

Hale and Delisle aren't actors, they're dubbing artists.
An actor is someone who can deliver a performance without saying anything. Think Anthony Hopkins.
Speech is only 50% of the acting.
When you watch a dubbed film, you're still getting half a performance.

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

I'm not weaselling out of anything, you guys are talking about something else entirely differently than I was.EvaUnit02 wrote:Ah, you can't weasel your way out of this one.
Exactly. It's a "fucking insulting generalisation" to think acting and voice dubbing are the same thing.tom2681 wrote:Hale and Delisle aren't actors, they're dubbing artists.
