Universal HD-DVD Sale, it works out at £7.70 each for two:

These are the same titles in the recent 50% off at Amazon.com but should work out cheaper (they were £10 each at Amazon).
I've gone for:
Lost in Translation
Carlito's Way
At those prices I couldn't resist.
Three at £18.50 before postage is too risky!

You have been busy, haven't you
How concerned are you about Toshiba dropping HD-DD or are you going to enjoy it while it lasts?
As I've said before I'm going to hold off until May now which is when Samsung's next Combo is due and Panasonic's Profile 2.0 Player is due in America. I hear the Europe could be getting it as early as next month. There shouldn't be any reason to wait longer than that.

I used the same one 4 times so far. It ussually runs for a week, but best to get orders in quickly.

No bargain as in a bargain price. $1/£1 less than elsewhere doesn't make it a bargain in my book. Regardless I cannot see many. Not against MovieTyme, Inetvideo, TheHut or HMV.romerojpg wrote:Bargain as in cheaper than any other place for many HD discs, then yes they are.
For single disc/2 disc SE's -grim_tales wrote:What would you consider a bargain for a HD disc Brad?
£5 or under for a HD-DVD
£10 or under for a BD
Obviously depending on the title in question. If a BD is above £12 I dislike it and if a HD-DVD is above £8 I dislike it too, but ultimately I stand by my £10 rule, whereby if it's under £10 I'm interested but above I give it more thought.

I've just ordered Motorcycle Diaries from Sendit, not remotely a bargain (£17.89) but it's expensive everywhere, isn't going down in price and I don't want to lose out. The cheapest I saw it was £16.39 from BlahDVD but it's no longer listed.
I've also bid on Oldboy on eBay.com. If I lose out the cheapest I can find it is $27.98 form Tower.com, including international postage.
I've just got to pick up The Proposition and T2: German, which I'm still undecided on
. I may wait for the cheaper BD. I doubt I'll ever watch the extras and I do still have the UE DVD.
