Thanks Romero. No it's not been posted before. The Aussie DVD looks rubbish.

You need to keep your cursor over the image for a few seconds for the HD one to appear.

Yup my PC was downloading so only a few caps changed when I hovered :) the first one shows you a big difference, compression esspecially is such a niggle on some dvds.

Even the colour pallate seems totally different between them. It is nice to see small films like Born to Fight betting HD treatment, hey it may not be the best film ever made, but its a nice show for action at least :D

HD at least you can see every little detail of people getting smacked in the face and burned alive, always a good thing :D

Agreed. I wish we saw more of it. Pretty much only blockbusters being released gets boring.

I've not seen it yet. I have the UK DVD.

Give it a go :D for the insane stunts alone you will get some entertainment out of it, pretty much all the action looks very dangerous! so much that people 100% certian got hurt in a few scenes :D

I may give it another go myself as only seen it once when I got the dvd. Not sure if I would splash out loads more cash on a HD version, but hey prices do drop.

Black Mask coming to Blu-ray:

http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/1821

Great :D. Black Mask coming to Blu-ray in a cut and English dubbed version only - Fuck!

Why bloody bother? This is 2008. Dragon Dynasty has shown it's that there is an "American Market" for films uncut and in the original language. Just include it uncut with English or Cantonese. Simple!

If it turns out to be English only (which is very likely) there's no way I'll be bothering, it will make the film completely unwatchable. I'll stick with my Remastered HK DVD. The Extended Taiwanese Cut looks way too awful for me.

Aww, I'd totally be up for buying Black Mask on Blu-ray if it were in its proper version. It's not exactly a decent film, but it sure is fun :D

Lionsgate probably don't have the rights to the uncut version.

I'd settle for the same cut with a re-edited Cantonese track.

@Clueless: "Tosh" means "crap".
We need a "Rosbeef to English" translator on this board. :D

Here are my thoughts on Fatal Move:

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

British English ;). I imagine it would confuse a yank just as much :D.

Is it more violent than Rambo 4 and Battle Royale?

Haven't seen Rambo 4 so I can't comment on that.
Similar to Kitano's Zatoichi, if you've seen that one. CG body parts flying everywhere.
It's very graphic but looks completely fake.
