Still they do talk about serious shit, rape maybe not, but that origanal script was still fucked up, rape or not.
Berg said "It was about a superhero who cant have an orgasm without killing the woman he is with" basically that alone is not comedy for me.

That doesn't mean he actually kills women, it means he has to abstain from sex because if he ejaculates inside a woman, the force would tear her apart. So the film was/is about a sexually frustrated hero, not some deviant. That is good comedy material! Smith is choosing some pretty dark material of late. And we like it. I Am Legend, the story of the last man left in a world ravaged by a vampire-like virus, is all set for release at the beginning of next year. He's currently filming Hancock, which is a superhero movie, but one in which the hero just wants to get laid, if only he could find a woman who could cope with the force of his superpowered orgasms (hence the original title, Tonight He Comes.
