Thanks Tom.

It looks like a solid upgrade, even if it's now a bit pinkified.

For some reason all my BDs look more red than my DVDs.
I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, though.

Using MPC HC + Haali renderer for Blu-Ray.
Using VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2 for DVD.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Is it pink on your projector?

Bigger bloody upgrade than many so called blockbusters of today, in fact it blows most comparisons away!

I've noticed the pink issue in BD caps, too, and not just Tom's. Many of Lourdes' anime comparisons are the same. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the caps, though. Just that every other BD caps I've seen looks somewhat pink.

Could be something wrong with the Haali renderer itself, for all I know.
I'll be doing some testing on that.

And no, I don't notice anything weird on my properly calibrated projector.
The colours are better (more "precise") but not pinkified in any way.

Thanks. If it's not pink on a TV screen/projector then presumably the captures are wrong.
