She certainly is.
You should check it out Mark, you have Freeview right? It's surprisingly good. The source material is so good though of course, so as long as there aren't too many jokes and it's kept sufficiently dark it cannot really fail.

I've read snippets over at Digital Spy, I hear the ending is very good but I stopped reading to avoid spoilers.

This show is great.
I've enjoyed ever episode aired so far (Virgin 1 is up to episode 5). I love the Terminator humour, not having a clue how to be "human". That's how you do Terminator humour, not some dumb pink sunglasses!
The woman playing Sarah Conner is excellent too. I did think Cameron (the female terminator) managed to stop the T888 so ridiculously easily though. She managed to hold him down then removed the Chip from his head with a pair of pliers.
I'm chuffed a second series has been commissioned.

Leaner Lena Headey too 'emaciated' for role in TV Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... _id=509521
Jeez she looks fine in the TV show, fuller than these photos lead to believe. She is "probably" too attractive compared to Linda Hamilton but again it's fine.
"The Mother of all Destiny"
Typical lousy American English at play. It should be "The Mother of all Destinies"

I just finished watching the Series 1 Finale.
Spoilers
Overall it was a pretty good episode BUT for a Finale it should've been much better, nothing much happened for 40 of the 59 minutes.
The shoot out looked artistically good but come on you don't need to show extreme violence to make it exciting. Why were we denied a good old fashioned punch up?
The ending was good though, it finished on a cliffhanger. The best two moments of the series for me were:
1. When 9/11 was explained to Sarah Connor - This happened really early on.
2. When Cameron (Terminator) was shown practising her bally - This scene was beautifully handled but also very deep.
The best overall episode was the one set in the concentration camp.
Spoilers Over
Overall while some episodes didn't quite work, it was still an excellent first series. I cannot wait for Series 2, which still seems to be a bit up in the air.
I cannot believe only Salty and I seem to have watched it, more fool you

It will be interesting to see how it progresses.
I don't hate T3 but do think overall it's poor. The ending is excellent but what came before is mediocre, especially the out of place humour. Then I suppose with T3 it's hard not to connect it to the prior two but with a TV series it's much easier to watch it for what it is.
That said moments of the TV series have been very strong indeed. I definitely enjoyed T3 more on the second viewing.

I've seen the first episode thus far, it was alright. More bloody retconned continuity (eg the events of T2 taking place in 1997), the rubbish writers couldn't even stay true to the events of T3, FFS. Judgement Day happened in 2003, TSCC pushes the date even further back to well after 2007.
What was truly appalling was happened after the classroom assassination attempt. The evil Terminator (who was posing as a relief teacher) turned to the students and delivers a one-liner, "Class dismissed." Jesus, truly non-Terminator-like behaviour. As if Skynet would include "smart-arse social programming" in "his" infiltration models.

T3 doesn't exist in the TV series universe, the writers have been clear about that. The film goes off in another direction. Which is fair enough IMO. T3 stank. I'm pleased they've written it out.
I would try to not compare how the terminators act in the TV series to how they act in T1/T2 because again and again you'll be annoyed. The example you give happens quite regularly. Most people have suggested they're different from older terminators, more advanced.
Cameron is very different, she says so in one of the episodes. The second episode is one of my favourite of the series, the 9/11 section is just fantastic, so well handled.
The episode set mostly in the future is also another highlight. As is seeing a Terminator practise ballet, very powerful.

According to T2, the events happens in 1994-1995 (as john is 10 years old, born in 1984).
I'm about to watch the finale, overall, tough many french seems to hate this show according to online posts, I find it interesting, at least it respect the original unlike T3.
I also think it's best when it's only talk and no action, there's no way you can beat the original movies for action. Many ideas are stolen from the original Dark Horse & co comic book series, including the title !

One thing you need to ignore in the TV show is how old people are. We're expected to believe Sarah Connor is in her 40s (or something like that) and John Connor is "still" a teenager.
Agreed. It's much better than T3.I find it interesting, at least it respect the original unlike T3.
I think both work.I also think it's best when it's only talk and no action, there's no way you can beat the original movies for action.

Just watched the finale, and there is at last two very good scenes in it
1- John and Derek watching himself and Kyle playing in the park
2- The shot of the pool where the swat team piles up one by one, victims of the Terminator.
This sold me out on the show, I'm going to get it on HD or DVD for sure.
