The problem with these comparison shots is the "nice" one is always with make up, lighting and a good pose but the "bad" one is always without make up, bad lighting and caught at a poor angle. In short they're never remotely fair.

That woman you post Ivan is UGLY. Helen Mirren for her age is much more attractive.

You should see Isabelle Adjani. She's something like 53 just now and still looks quite hot. She was still early 20 looking stunning when she was 38-40 (La Reine Margot as evidence).

Can't find any photos of her that I know are recent, other than a couple that are not too flattering and kinda ruin my point! But she's still hot for a getting older woman!
