I think that the talk in This thread accurately covers its change from a great resource with lots of activity, into a forum that is nearly as dead as this one with affiliation and sponsors right down to corner shops.
Are there any decent Film/Home Video forums around?

WHat has that thread got to do with the discussion of Film/Home Video on TheDVDforums? Surely you want a better Bargains Forum? IMO the 3 actual film discussion boards are as vibrant and active as ever and still the best place on the internet to talk about western films & DVD. I tend to avoid the General forums and all the Supplier forums.
I know the Mods are extremely stroppy, but again it's not that often they make their presence felt in the film forums.

Yup its a good film forum first, bargains I go elsewere for as frankly yes many things you cannot even talk about. I have nearly £80 in my cashback accounts now this year so far, which I would never have if I only read DVDF, hence why I dont use it for everything.
The sites far from even close to dead, it gets massive amounts of people visiting still.

For those who think I ever abused my mod powers. I was a saint compared to the mods over at The DVD Forums
. Stroppy is an understatement. Not that I've posted there for about a year now.
I don't think Bullets is dead, just small. There's a difference IMO

I don't care about bargain forums, although the one there is shit. The link just highlights the attitude of the administration which has killed the place off.
It's rubbish as a film forum these days, a few years back there was 10x the discussion. Now just looking at the modern cinema forum only 10 topics have had posts in them today.
