Maybe at Eva's house, but I bet the vast majority of parents can take a shower with their naked kids without it ending in incest....

Agreed Yi. Thankfully not all Americans are wackos. I read somewhere that a high proportion of American kids have never seen their parents naked. I suspect it's an American website.

It's entirely normal for parents to take a shower or bath with their young child. It's part of the bonding process, but clearly the dumbass who wrote that page hasn't a clue. If your child is 14, however, it might be a problem.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs nowadays, when male teachers are quiting their job cause they now feel uncomfortable when they have to comfort a kid or be alone with a kid or whatever. Female teachers wont be frowned upon, but when a male teacher pulls a kid up on his lap to comfort him/her, there's a part of society which automatically thinks the guy must be a pedo and/or perv or whatever.

You're almost looked upon as a criminal when you take your kid to the swimmingpool and sit there in the kid-bath, watching him/her play with other kids...

Society have gone pedophile paranoid crazy. It's all the media's fault. I mean my 4 years old daughter is half caucasian, half japanese. When I go shopping with her, some people watch me like I'm a perv or something. It's not a nice feeling. People should get a life, really.

No, women usually like her and get it right away, it's always the guys who look suspiciously. You know there's one other thing, dads going out with their 20 years old daughter to a gig or something, and people looking at them like it's Billy Idol's Cradle of Love. Anyway, the opening scene of Red Heat in the sauna is more disturbing than Arnold taking a shower with a kid I think

I'm talking about young children. Spending time with them and having them close to you is part of the bonding/nurturing aspect of a parent/child relationship. Young children sleep with their parents, are often held/cuddled, and yes, bathe together. It's entirely normal, and an essential means of showing affection. If any parent doesn't do it for fear of being called a paedo then that's worrying.
