Bottom: R2 FR HK Video
Both dvds look about like I expected them to. Criterion is a bit cropped and slightly dirtier, but sharp and clean and very pleasing to eye. HK Video is messy, boosted and ugly. Notice the 5th cap. I had to re-do it, because HK Video was missing the last 5 frames. But Criterion doesn’t get away perfectly clean either; their transition frame is interlaced. While doing the comparison I didn’t notice any other interlaced spots on either disc.
