London under terrorist attack...

Well I had sad news the other day

I seem to know the family that was blown up in Turkey last wekend

in a similar theme to the london Bombs, bet these poor people dont get a 2 minute silence shows you how ridiculous the world is! these people get silence, others dont and dont even get in the papers much.

The recent bombing in Turkey well The family from the UK that has been blown up about 8-10 of them went over for a nice holiday and seems about half of them were on the bus that has been blown up! the other half its hard to tell so far.

My sister dated the real father of the young lass who was killed!
(I think it was the lass, could have been the Boy who was only 15!!!!!!!, I think they were brother and sister to different dads, dont want to pry into family stuff)
(Helen Bennett aged only 21!!!!!!)

I went to work with the dad of the family who is currently in hospital critical it seems and my dad is very good friends and works with the dad of the family struck by this bombing of innocent people on a bloody minibus
basically people in my family all knew someone from this Bombing as they were all from Durham and all seemed to work in the same areas.

The news hasnt really caught on that most of them are releated yet as they all had different second names

It goes to show you they pick on totally inocent people on there holidays and once you know some people wiped out by these attrocites it makes you feel eFing sick!

Whilst I agree that the Iraq affair is a factor behind the suicide bombings, let's not pretend that only countries involved are targets. What about Bali? Truth is: these psychos are just looking for an excuse. If it wasn't Iraq it'd be something else. Remember 9/11 came before Iraq. What was it that time? Oh yeah, Palestine. I wonder what the next excuse will be for grotesque, indiscriminate maimings and murder. We need to stop pretending that there's a fathomable logic behind these terrorist actions.

Thats' true Mark. As long ago as 1998 (I think), Bin Laden was planning to attack America and her Allies. This before Afghanistan, 9/11 or Iraq.

TBH I dont think the terrorists care about Iraqis (whether there is a link between Iraq and the London bombings or not, maybe there is). They want to make us scared (so what Blair says about going about our daily life makes sense to me) and destroy our way of life perhaps. If they cared about their countrymen why wasn't Serbia bombed when Muslims were being ethnically cleansed? They would of also wiped out Saddam a long time ago before.

It doesnt make any sense.
Maybe there is a "connection" but it sure as hell doesnt mean what happened in London is somehow justified.

The terrorists don't give a shit about Iraq. It's just an excuse. Next week it'll be something else. They want a Holy War and will use any means to get it. I detested the IRA, but at least they had attainable goals that could conceiveably be realised with political negotiation. You can't negotiate with savages whose goal is to erase our very way of life and turn Britain into a Sharia state.

it would make us happier if they really were doing what they do because they are simply evil... as in no motive other than the wish to maim and kill. We can handle that reality much better than the reality that they do what they do for reasons we dont understand or agree with.

I find it amazing people find it so hard to believe that Iraq is one of the motivators behind these attacks. now lets try some bad netiquette to get the point accross, I AM NOT SAYING THERE IS EXCUSE FOR TERRORIST ACTS, I AM SAYING THE PEOPLE WHO COMMIT THESE ACTS TRULY DO BELIEVE THAT THERE IS GOOD JUSTIFICATION FOR THEM TO DO WHAT THEY DO, and in their eyes that includes the 'invasion' of Iraq. They believe this is the truth in the same way we believe oranges are the colour orange. They are wrong, we are right but denying the existence of their logic and claiming they do it for fun is just avoiding the problem and simply makes things worse...

What I'm saying is that IRAQ is merely an excuse for something that started a long time ago and pulls in any injustice against Muslims as reason for their Jihad.

9-11 was BEFORE Afghanistan and Iraq. So was the World Trade Center bombing in 1993.

I was personally against the invasion of Iraq but I'm not going to let that blind me to what these terrorists real motivations and goals are. If you put aside your Liberal bias for two seconds you might see that.

Dont think he gives a shit about Iraq though, if he's so upset about his people being killed he should have spoken out when Saddam did it in his rein of evil

And the coalition have not targeted innocents and gassed and tortured them so not sure what he was on about? Can the muppet not see that?

Nope he could not see that. I know people are probably getting sick of me saying this but a very high percentage of people in the world dont share the same morals we do and just get pissed off when we assume they do or should. To us, our actions are much less evil than saddams, to people like the bloke on the video, us getting involved in 'arabic affairs' is far worse than anything saddam could ever have done.

you might be onoto something there... if we plant some of our own crazy mentors in the trouble spots they could lure all those that might be extremists into their way of thinking... which is of course that the only way to get revenge at the infidel westerners is to sit in a cave all day
