Well, you said that Rambo stuck his fingers thru a guy's neck... he doesn't. What he does is grab the front of the guys throat and tear it open. Not the same at all. You made it sound like something from Story of Ricky.bradavon wrote:How do they differ exactly?![]()

What worries me more is Romero has that picture on his computer
Back to Rambo 4:
* It occurred to me while watching it that it's very unlikely the Burmese Government would allow foreigners to be treated how they're treated in Rambo 4. In the world we now live in it would be all over the news in hours, certainly a lot less than the 10 days the film claims.
* In many ways Rambo 4 is almost a remake of Rambo 3:
1. Rambo is minding his own business in Northern Thailand.
2. Rambo is asked to go on a mission and turns it down.
3. Something goes wrong and then Rambo gets involved.
4. Rambo goes on some mad mission to rescue someone/some people from certain death.
That's where I think the similarities end. Other than in both films he is completely outnumbered, which is normal for an action flick.

I don't know if this was discussed before but I just made a fun little cultural observation... in Kinokuniya they had the same mini poster for Rambo as we do... you know, the shot of Rambo from behind, holding a knife. Only that in Japan his arm is covered in blood...
EDIT: google, dumbass. Here

(actually the blood is in the US one also, but colourless)

It's a subtle change but definitely conveys a different tone.

Too late for me sadly, I already had the Fembo porn version
she carries a few massive weapons and takes on even more men than Stallone.
