Never heard a work ever about it, so maybe it bullshit! as sites always get things wrong and many things have had his name next to them and turned out not to be his at all

and he wasnt making films in 1997 I think his 1st was that shit versus prequel thing and that was after 97 I think.

i got Longinus btw bisc. gonna watch it wed night buti will let you know what its like or if you want i could give you a loan of it?:ninja:

Well a quick cheack about shows me the film Kunoichi has a sequel as well, theres 2 films in the series both on dvdsoon and ones cheap, may go for one as lady Ninjas are always nice.

Kunoichi means female ninjas, which is nice.

Maybe this could be some film from the "Kunoichi ninpocho"-series, which has at least eight parts?
But I think they got all the information wrong,
not only must the director be someone else than Kitamura, also the actor Hiroyuki Watanabe have not starred in any film that has kunoichi in the title according to imdb, and the kunoichi ninpocho-titles were made in 92,93,94,95,96,98 etc , though this is said to have been made in 1997. Strange.

By the way, "kunoichi" is simply a word for woman in japanese.
It has been made by deconstructing the kanji for woman, 女
into its three parts, く ku ノ　no 一　ichi .

strangley I think I may end up seeing this series of films as it just kind of hooked me now, but it is odd that most the sites seem to list the film with the wrong info about it, guess they have no idea what they are on about then

This dvd could of course be some other film.
Anyway, the first 8 kunoichininpocho-movies is available in two rather cheap japanese dvd-boxes (only 10000 yen each). Without subtitles though. :ninja:
