The original 'Dragon Inn' was scope and obviously that cap was not.

As I said my guess was for the 1992 film... not that it matters as I was wrong.

You should know by now that sometimes people post pics not in the film's OAR.

Why are we still going on about this?

Nope. Not giallo.

Will post a new cap after next couple of guesses.

Yawn like the aspect ratio matters when this is clearly just a game. Some people really need to take their geek hat off sometimes :D , using an aspect ratio of all things to guess what film it is. Madness!

It helps, prick. Not having caps in the OAR is not fair at all.

Yep it helps but this is also just a game. If you don't recognise the picture I cannot see extra info on the sides helping "greatly". Not fair? You what! It's a game.

I can just imagine what happens at World Cup/Super Bowl/Pick one time when your team loses. Right lets have a punch up, because it's all so important :D . Keep them coming though Eva it does continue to amuse me.

The idea of any game is that there are rules that you play by. In super bowl they use the official ball, because that way the teams can use their super bowl skills when playing. It's not okay if one team brings their own ball, lets say a basketball or a tennis ball, and say "Hey' it's just a game, either you score or not".

In dvdmystere the aspect ratio doesn't mean much for those who don't know much movies and only score when they recognice the movie. But there are people here who are getting about half of their points from movie they haven't seen, but figured out from the clues the poster gave (aspect ratio, country etc.).

And again, this is not taking the game too seriously. But there's no point in playing if there are no rules. We could just as well throw coin about the winner. Winning is not that important either, but it's the goal of this game. Every game need a goal, otherwise it's pointless.

Except it's not mentioned in the rules and you guys would just like it to be :D -

You're comparing a professional game with millions of dollars at stake to a little game on a forum?

My god put it in context.
But there's no point in playing if there are no rules.
Tough. It's not in the rules and Shingster has even mentioned recently members post in different aspect ratio. You geek types (the same ones who annually moan about HKL) just cannot let it drop :D

Call me a dick for being so patronising but I have to read it type and type again.
And again, this is not taking the game too seriously.
You reckon?

Why do you care so much when you're not playing yourself?

And if you don't want to compare to professional game, then compare to any game. I don't know about you but when I go play tennis or football with my friends we play by the rules. Otherwise it would be just boring. And it's the same with this game. If we can play this by the rules, so that you can score with knowledge and brains, then I'm interested in taking part. If this is just fooling around and someone randomly posting a cap or maybe not, possibly in the correct aspect ratio, then fine. I'm just not interested in playing in that case.

And what is it with people taking everything fucking seriously in the internet? I can't disagree about anything without someone blaming me for taking things dead serious.

Mark tells me off when I do :D . But oddly ignores others :?

Except like I said it's not in the rules so your point makes little sense ;)

p.s - As it happens I do play but rarely recognise the picture.

I don't have a clue about the picture. It looks like an Italian production but set in America.

Am I warm?

It's set in Italy.

The leading man is in the 2nd picture so if you're familiar with Italian crime thrillers....
