hey,

Cherie 0/5
What a fucking piece of fucking shit. But you can see Cherie Chung's tit. Patrick Tam has made better movies. ;)

Mark....this was underrated in your book? ;)

She’s in the terrible Korean Bruckheimer equivalent Shiri.
You what?

Shiri is barely anything at all like any of Bruckheimer's produced films. Bruckheimer does soppy sentimentality (i.e - Pearl Habour), it's definitely deeper and better acted in Shiri than anything Bruckheimer is capable of producing. The action is way more intense too.

Shiri is one of the best action films ever made. I'd love it to be released on HD!

Sweeney Todd - 8 out of 10

Flipping fantastic. Depp and Burton are so talented. Bonham Carter is decent too. Yes Depp's singing is better but so what. The little boy was good too.

Personally I would've rated it 15. Only two scenes have what I'd say are disturbing violence. The blood (of which there is oodles) becomes almost laughable, you can't take it seriously. Some people were actually laughing.

I hear the action is tops, the politics ham fisted. Hollywood should avoid politics in Action movies!

tbh it's not really an action film more a procedural with some kick ass climactic action. looked nice in HD.I got the combo reasonable over at dvdforumss.

"The Kingdom" is just another Hollywood that has "from-Americans-for-Americans" written all over it. Their superficial sympathy with Arab people is disgusting. It's as if they need to explain to the American audience, that Arabs are human beings as well. So while the intention might be a good one, it is still disgusting that such ethics are taught by an action film.

Personally I find it hard to do that when it's such an integral part of the film. Instead of a small part of it.

Politics and action should rarely mix.

Of course I've seen it. I would never leave such a statement about a film I haven't even seen.
