Dude, Van Damme's acting in "Until Death" is unusually good. His best acting performance ever. He even outplays Stephen Rea in this film.Yi-Long wrote:Damn... Van Damme looks like he's wearing one of those rubber masks, like the ones in Point Break...![]()
Even Droopy wouldnt walk the streets with a face like that!

That's coz Stephen Rea is aware that he's stuck in a terrible role in a deeply mediocre film, you can see the lack of drive and sadness in his eyes!thelostdragon wrote: Dude, Van Damme's acting in "Until Death" is unusually good. Van Damme does put in the performance of his career, but he's merely competent in this film, which is a huge step up considering he couldn't even play himself competently in previous films!

I wouldn't agree with that. He was competant in his early films (mostly) but over the last decade has kept improving and unlike Steven Seagull seems to really care about the performance he's giving (even in low grade dreck like 'Replicant' or 'In Hell'). I haven't seen Until Death yet, but will at some point.Shingster wrote:Van Damme does put in the performance of his career, but he's merely competent in this film, which is a huge step up considering he couldn't even play himself competently in previous films!
