See Brad here is a classic example of your stunning idiocy.any man & his dog who knows who John Hannah is can see straight away it's him.you make a statement it looks nothing like him,get your todger hard about his alleged buffing up and only succeed in making yourself look thicker than ever :)

So I'm the only one who doesn't think he's put on some muscles and looks different than usual? (at least in that shot). I never said it wasn't him, just that he looks very different than normal. Photos from Sliding doors, his jaw is even a different shape:

Is this on any Freeview channel?

And you're the one who's just admitted he does look different after all. I wasn't on about him looking younger

Just watched the first episode and some of the second on BD (then I had to send the disc back as it was broken)
Entertaining enough (think the BBC show "Rome" meets 300) but I find the CGI blood a real distraction, the slow motion is annoying.
The woman who plays Spartacus' wife is hot  Not only her though :D

The Slo Mo is amazing and the blood looks epic, its a style thing. I adore the style myself :)

It has to be said it is very comic book like, some of it looks bloody perfect mind you, but most the time you can tell they turned up the bloody machine farrr to high  I love it myself :D MORE MORE MORE  its a show that does get better as it goes along.

That's what I was thinking - very comic book/graphic novel like.
