High school girl ninja action by Takahiro Ishihara (Snake of Violence), starring some gravure girl Yuka Ogura, with Tak Sakaguchi in supporting role.

The website and trailer do some serious name dropping... Sion Sono is credited for the concept/idea, Yuji Shimomura/Tak Sakaguchi/ Yoshitaka Inagawa (the Re:Born team) for opening scene action choreography while the main action direction credit goes to Makoto Sakaguchi (the little karate girl in Tokyo Tribe!!!)

For what it is (a DTV film with limited theatrical release) this looks a bit more watchable than I expected.

Was Noboru Iguchi involved as well?

I was thinking about the exact same thing when I saw that

DVD/BD on April 2nd:

I watched the first 15 minutes of this. Then I realized there are more enjoyable things in life to do. Like doing the laundry or cleaning the toilet.
