Thanks Beat.

Any idea which colour scheme is correct? I "think" I prefer the R1 but it's a hard one to call. That's the one I own.

Thank Beat TG.

I prefer the HK disc's colour scheme, but would likely buy the DD release. Deltamac might put this out on BD though.

Are you sure? I cannot find it listed on DDDHouse or Yesasia. I wouldn't have bought the DD DD if I'd know there was a HK BD.

He said "might".

I think the R1 is too dark.
There's no shadow detail in cap N°4.

Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Oh yeah, oops :D. Hey ho I've got to do something to maintain my reputation ;)

I thought that at first but it's only too talk in some shots.

Too dark, too green. Doesn't look right.

The green is certainly weird but then it's overly Blue in some of the HK captures.

Same here. And I think the use of blue tint is intended.

btw bradavon, how's the extras on the 2nd disc? I only have the movie.

Take the HK transfer, remove the blue tint and decrease the brightness by 50%.
You get this:

Pretty close to what's on the R1.

I guess you haven't seen the movie. At least not from the HK disc.

I don't know sorry. I've not watched them or the movie.

The HK disc could be wrong ;), but agreed it's unlikely to be.
