Mizui + Izumi = Mizuizumi. Maki Mizui (formerly Sayako Nakoshi) and Cay Izumi (Izumi Kai) are scheduled to perform together in a dance show at this year's Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival (Yûbari Kokusai Fantasutikku Eigasai) - "YIFFF" for short - in Hokkaido, Japan on February 25th.

BTW, last month Mizui starred in Toshiki Satô's Seishun H: ichijiku kobachi, and last year she co-starred with Ai Narita in Minoru Kunizawa's pink film (pinku eiga) The reipâ: yami saito-hen - bishimai · hada no sakebi - or "The raper: yami site-hen - bishimai · hada no sakebi", if you prefer back-transliterations. (Both Mizui and Narita currently are managed by Hotcha Promotion (Haccha Puromôshon).)

- Yudai Yamaguchi will re-team with Ryuhei Kitamura for the tenth anniversary reboot VERSUS VS. VERSUS!

- Noboru Iguchi will tackle an all-schoolgirl remake of Kurosawa's SEVEN SAMURAI!

- Tak Sakaguchi will direct & star in period action film CAIN VS ABEL. Tak will play both CAIN *and* ABEL, and beat himself up!

- Sion Sono will follow up GUILTY OF ROMANCE with the Sushi Typhoon / Hollywood co-production EAT MORE, PRAY MORE, LOVE MORE, THEN DIE.

- Takashi Miike will finally make his first Sushi Typhoon film. Details are still shrouded in mystery, but expect "kiddie porn".
