Them In Bruges caps make it look like a blocky mess, I seen many caps from that disc and none looked like that before.

I would say you are compressing them too much, some are as small as 63kb, for a HD cap is an absolutley massive bit of compression. Even a Facebook snap is more than 63 KB and that is 600 pixels wise :) maybe up them in size a fair bit and they may well look better :) still you must be doing plenty of work with the discs, I need a PC BR drive, they are so cheap now.

i take the caps in bitmap form at full res, change them to jpeg with gimp then up them to photobucket :? i'm no expert but how am i compressing them using that method?

how? actually looking at the Bodyguard & Opium caps, the file size is far,far larger. In Bruges was one of my first efforts, maybe i went wrong somewhere.

Gimp must be compressing the images, either that or there was something wrong with your bitmaps. Anything less than 200kb for a 1080p JPG means they're ridiculously compressed and cannot be counted on for accurate results.

There are many sites with some cracking HD caps on them :) here are a few, I think In bruges is on a few sites, will have to look about and see for ya.

http://www.hundland.org/hd/i/i.htm

http://www.cinemasquid.com/blu-ray/movies/screenshots

http://www.caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergleiche/test.php

Seems I can only find In Bruges on the first site, will look later for more when I have time to check Bookmarks :)

Sam, what prog are using to capture the blu ray caps? I do see that you are converting them via Gimp.

Any reason not to get the UK BD of The Myth? I'd be upgrading from the HK DVD.
