don't think their fast shipping means that.think it's something like Amazon's expedited shipping, the item will get to the uk a little bit quicker than standard.bradavon wrote:It depends what delivery the extra £2 gets you. Next day Courier and Special Delivery will beat normal Royal Mail hands down.

Great, thanks.Clueless_Monkey wrote:Mei Ah doesn't watermark it's releases anymore.
Way to go though, fuck up part 1 but part 2 is fine. I've not seen either part because of this. I'm not buying a broken BD and don't want the DVD.
Does that manage to remove it?Clueless_Monkey wrote:@romerojpg
I'm glad my projector has a digital shutter feature.

With the digital shutter you can black out certain areas around the picture by turning off parts of the panel. Works great on burnt-in subtitles as well.bradavon wrote:Does that manage to remove it?Clueless_Monkey wrote:@romerojpg

And since the watermark only appears in the upper black bar, I don't lose away any picture information.
Of course this doesn't 'fix' the watermark issue, but at least I don't see it on my screen.
If you're so worried, you can always get the Taiwanese BD without the watermark:

I dont watch any TV becuase of that, and adverts.Shingster wrote:Is anyone sane of mind actually going to be so distracted by a watermark appear inside the black border to have their enjoyment of the film affected in any way? How the hell do you people get on with watching TV shows!
We do not have to suffer such crap in a cinema or on a real dvd, so any pathetic company putting watermarks on any dvd is a total joke.

Really? That's loads of channels you don't watch. As to adverts, buy a Freeview+ or Sky+ box. Problem sorted.romerojpg wrote:I dont watch any TV becuase of that, and adverts.
Exactly. There's no excuse for it, especially when it does absolutely bugger all to stop piracy. People who don't pay for films really aren't going to care but those who pay £20 a pop certainly are.romerojpg wrote:We do not have to suffer such crap in a cinema or on a real dvd, so any pathetic company putting watermarks on any dvd is a total joke.

Well another big reason is I cannot be bothered to wait for shows, I want the entire season/series in front of me now to watch when I want. I cannot stand waiting 6 montsh for a TV show to run its season on TV, its hell.bradavon wrote:Really? That's loads of channels you don't watch. As to adverts, buy a Freeview+ or Sky+ box. Toss in adverts and them idiot logos and it just makes me buy every TV/film show I watch.
The only things I watch on TV are Music and news, logo hell but hey.
Still TV looks so poor I cannot watch it anyway and no chance I would ever pay for Sky thast for sure. Freeview sucks bad and is pretty unwatcahble STILL! for me, its still like watching Lego move about.
When I get a dvd/HD I want perfection, a dumb watermark is not perfection and is an insult to anyone buying it, anyone buying it is just telling them it is fine, giving them cash is ignorant. You may as well get a pirate.
