Perfect Blue R2J HD Remaster

This was a comparison between 1997's jewel case, and the 2008 Jewel Box remaster. Can't be sure if I was manipulating frames the way I do now, landing me the perfect image. I would re-upload, but have since sold my copy of '97. Instead, I've replaced entirely with renewal. PQ for 1997 was/is flawless, equal to Blu-ray or an HD Remaster. The 5.1 however was/is inferior, and sounds restricted. Fortunately Jewel Box fixes this, and you now get lossless audio like you do other titles. There is the issue of Scanner Noise (something another user pointed out), which can obscure detail seen previously. Noise aside however, Jewel Box is every bit desirable as other restorations, with updated 5.1 sound, which is now lossless as mentioned earlier.

Thanks for the comparison. I have the 2008 DVD. Also got to see this in 35mm some years ago.
