This is a curious film because it obviously shouldn't have been released in the Roman Porno series, but it was (double feature with Pink Hip Girl: Love Attack). There's very little sex or nudity in it, and it's in line with Fujita's many mainstream youth films for Nikkatsu. Perhaps unsurprisingly Nikkatsu has downplayed its Roman Porno roots ever since (I haven't examined every release, but the DVDs I've seen in stores make no mention of it being a Roman Porno). Good film though, with a great ending!
The March 2022 Happinet release of Nobuyuki Saito's Captured Mother and Daughter: She-Beasts (母娘監禁 - 牝(めす), 1987) is a noteable improvement over the old Uplink X DVD from 2002:

The Happinet DVD being less censored (as seen in the last two screenshots above) is certainly interesting. I have watched a number of Uplink X releases that were less censored than current VoD versions of the same films.
I rewatched this film on Toei Channel some months ago, a censored to hell R15 version with modern ugly censorship balls in every sex scene. The same kind that were in Jealousy Game:

While I was at Laputa Asagaya a few weeks ago, I picked up their chirashi for the upcoming Roman Porno Jidaigeki program. Some good films there as well as a couple of very rare ones (I don't think I've ever come across 艶説 お富与三郎 and 大江戸性盗伝 ―女斬り― before).

Both films were directed by Motomu Ida for Aoyama Pro, to be purchased and distributed by Nikkatsu, just like the incredible Confessions of a Lovelace: At Lust’s End (ある色魔の告白 色欲の果て) (1968) which came out between these two films, and which caught on TV last year. viewtopic.php?p=182457#p182457
It doesn't look like Nikkatsu officially announced more RP batches (the final previously announced batch came out earlier this month) but they clearly are releasing more because in addition to 女浮世風呂 we are also getting Shogoro Nishimura's「妻たちの午後は」より 官能の檻 (1976), Ryuichi Hiroki's 夢魔 (1994), Akira Kato's 襲られる (1977), Masaru Konuma's スチュワーデス・スキャンダル 獣のように抱きしめて (1984), Yoichi Sai's 性的犯罪 (1983), Yasuaki Uegaki's ピンクのカーテン３(1983), Toshiharu Ikeda's スケバンマフィア 肉（リンチ）刑 (1980) and Kazunari Takeda's 私の中の娼婦 (1984) on the same date.
Everything DVD only, so my fear that they'd abandon BD releases looks to have been justified.
She passed away last year in October, but the news only broke out today. I spotted the news via Cinema Vera, who said she was not only a talk event guest, but a frequent customer in the theatre as well.
Both are for films I don't really care for... by directors I really like. Oh well, I wouldn't wear a t-shirt for my favourite Kichitaro Negishi film anyway
Here’s a bit of vague good news: Koretsugu Kurahara's Sex Rider: Injured Lust (セックス・ライダー 傷だらけの欲情) (1973) has been re-rated by Eirin on 2023/7/28. Looks like Nikkatsu has finally unearthed this film which, to the best of my knowledge, has never been released on home video and probably has never been available to view outside of theatres. It might be for a TV broadcasting, it might be for streaming or DVD, but whatever it is I’m expecting the film finally to become accessible.
Very promising news indeed! I'd say a TV broadcast is most likely how it'll be released first. Maybe a DVD and/or streaming will follow later. Not that it really matters. I just want to finally check it out. This is top 10 most wanted material for me.

Awesome! This is probably the most excited I've been about a RP release since Nikkatsu dug Zoom Up: Rape Site out of their vaults. Not that I expect a similar amount of depravity but there's a big difference between looking forward to improved picture quality or a corrected aspect ratio due to a film being remastered and a film like this becoming available for the first time.
Sex Rider: Injured Lust (セックス・ライダー 傷だらけの欲情) (Japan, 1973) [TV] – 3.5/5
After being near impossible to see for decades, director Koretsugu Kurahara's follow-up to his 1971 action film Sex Rider: Wet Highway has finally been unearthed. The sequel follows young outlaw couple Masafumi Shiga and Mimi Sugihara (neither one of whom seem to have any other acting credits) in an incestuous relationship trying to rebel against the word while being chased by a trigger happy detective. Kurahara, one of the young Nikkatsu action directors who refused to let go of the past even in the Roman Porno era, and veteran screenwriter Hideichi Nagahara (A Colt is My Passport, Stray Cat Rock, Hairpin Circus) construct the film as a Nikkatsu Outlaw actioner with a handful of added (compulsory) sex scenes. Grainy cityscapes and slow-motion montages dominate the first half while the second borrows more from road movies. The soundtrack is almost entirely recycled from other films and sources, but it's a hell of a mix tape. Speaking of the soundtrack, Morio Agata's Kanto hit Red Elegy plays throughout the film and is a likely inspiration for the storyline. Like the original movie, the film is a bit superficial in parts and clumsy in others, yet there's an overwhelmingly positive sense of rebellion unfolding on screen with Kurahara stubbornly crafting yet another decidedly cool action picture within the studio mandated Roman Porno frame. It may be slightly different flavour from the first film, with more urban crime film vibe, but fans of the original ought to enjoy it.
Glad you liked it and looking forward to checking it out myself. I guess my biggest question is if there's any moments of absurd comedy like the... "duck scene" in the original. Those are a big part of why I like the original so much.

I don't think there was anything comparable to the duck scene... We do get slow-motion that blurs the line between cool and silly, though.
I wonder why it took more than a year for this sequel to come out? Perhaps unwillingness on Kurahara's part to go with the porno flow and accept any non-action oriented projects until much later in the 70s? I'd love to see his True Story of Sex and Violence in a Female High School (番（バンカク）格 女子高校生のＳＥＸと暴力の実態) (1973) which he made between this and Black Panther Bitch M (1974).
Love Hunter: Lust (恋の狩人 欲望) (Japan, 1973) [TV] – 4/5
Director Seiichiro Yamaguchi made film and court history when he, Nikkatsu, and even the censorship board were trialled for the distribution of obscene material in the so called Roman Porno case targeting the director’s film Love Hunter (1972). It is generally understood the case was less about the film in question and more about authorities reacting to the ever quickening eroticization of cinema after major studio Nikkatsu had begun mass producing Roman Porno some two month earlier. Yamaguchi responded by making this angry, political / philosophical sequel that follows a stripper (Mari Tanaka) with ties to radical youth movement arrested for obscenity. Much of the film unfolds in interview sequences critiquing the legal system, the hypocrisy of the authorities, and prejudice against anyone, particularly women, who challenge established conservative values. But the film, perhaps surprisingly, doesn't dwell too long on the injustice the director’s alter-ego faces, as it also critically examines the naivety of the youth and the compromising nature of the anti-establishment. Less fascinating is the love affair between the protagonist and a disillusioned reporter who used to be at the forefront of the student movement in his youth but has since stopped believing one person could make a difference. There are some dull sex scenes thrown in to fulfil genre requirements, but the film's political contents, especially when mirrored against the court case that was in progress at the same time the film was made, are so interesting it's hard to take your eyes off the screen. Acting performances are solid as well, by both skin actress gone anti-establishment icon Tanaka and Teruo Matsuyama, who has the kind of world weariness perfect for the cynical reporter role. And last but not least, there’s superb use of music throughout the film.
More RP (partly, at least, considering all the technically non-RP titles from the 80ies and 90ies they included) batches announced by Nikkatsu/Happinet, starting in September and ending in March 2025. DVDs only.

For a moment I thought Noboru Tanaka's Pink Salon: Five Lewd Women (ピンクサロン 好色五人女) (1978) has been released from the Nikkatsu prison, but no such luck. I wonder how long it (and other Machiko Ohtani films) will remain under distribution ban. Until she's dead, I guess.

Some new labels are jumping on the Nikkatsu RP wagon recently, which is probably a good thing since Synapse has been quiet in regards to announcements for future releases.
We are getting Noboru Tanaka's Village of Doom from Unearthed Films in the US and a total of 5 Nikkatsu titles have been announced by 88 Films in the UK, including a box set of Kazuo "Gaira" Komizu films (Guts of a Beauty, Guts of a Virgin and Rusted Body) as well as Shogoro Nishimura's Apartment Wife: Affair In The Afternoon and Tatsumi Kumashiro's Woods are Wet.
The last one is a favorite of mine but I admit to being surprised it is getting an official release in the West because of the censorship methods Kumashiro used. With viewers constantly whining about even a tiny bit of fogging, what are they going to make of gigantic black geometric forms coving half the screen?
