Hush... It NEEDS to be, because they left out stuff that made it feel rushed ;)

As for Kill Bill I feel part 2 didn't do so well as the Studio had hoped, so they are probably in no great need to put more money into it... :D

I'm really out of touch with modern audiences....

I thought both Sin City and Kill Bill were nasty and soulless.

But most guys my own age love them...

Am I on my own???

Well Sin City is "nasty" but I wouldn't say "soulless". :D

Or maybe I have an edge in knowing the comic books...

As for Kill Bill I found part 1 to be fun and campy, while part 2 was not so ... much to my liking. Though I could have been without the Anime insertion in part 1.

for me sin city was awesome, kill bill 2 was awesome, kill bill was ok to good.
I thought both Sin City and Kill Bill were nasty and soulless.
im guessing thats the main appeal for many of the fans ;)

Well, what can be said is that 'Sin City' is one of the few comic film versions, that actually feel like the original comic books.

Unrealnils, isn't that typical of anything that is "hyped" as much as "Sin City" was. The film has it's weakspots (and parts of it I feel is because they trimmed it down a bit)... but what most people rave about is the technical side of this production. I was literally shocked to hear that Mickey Rourke and Rutger Hauer never met on set... or that Mickey Rourke did his part in Nancy's house before they'd cast Jessica Alba (I think, at least she wasn't present... and neither was Rourke when she did her bits...)

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the extended edition that supposedly will allow you to see each story seperately (so it'd be like a compilation disc of 3 movies with a similar theme - i.e. Sin City).

Honestly I didnt think it was overhyped at all, its all in peoples minds I find they hype it up and think its going to be something its not. Rareley, if ever, hype alters anything I think of a film.
