XBOX The NXE update... (Show your avatar, discuss new crap)

Havent installed a game yet, and yesterday I had problems getting to the demos, as the connection was a bit faulty at times. Did manage to get the new Naruto demo, and although it was OK-ish, I was more impressed by the PS3 Naruto demo.

The real meat of the update is hard drive installations + 16:10 resolution support. Two glaring faults of the Xbox 360 were finally rectified, I'm very happy. My Elite's 120GB HDD finally has use.

I alternate my 360 between a 16:9 HDTV + 5.1 setup during the day; and a 16:10 22" monitor at night, to play with headphones on my PC's soundsystem.

Christ, I really need to buy the wifi adapter. It should've been built-in like with PS3.

Same problem here, with the wifi. It's now hooked up through a cable, while my PS3 just has it built in.
I wouldnt mind buying a wifi-'dongle', if it were reasonably priced. But it's 80 euro here(!), which is beyond ridiculous.

I'm not too sure what the point of the avatars is. I don't really like the new layout. I felt stuff was easier to find in the blade system. Maybe I just need to get used to the NXE.

HDD installs rock! My XBox is finally quite quiet (apart from the fan noise).

The new guide button interface is more or less the old blade dash.

Yeah I know, but I still prefer the old blade system for the actual dashboard.
