I'll purchase the BD sometime, this is definitely one of the best Stone films that I've seen.

According to DVD Times the BD is missing the extras from the UE DVD 3rd disc. Not that I would bother about them - a doc on the Kennedys I think - but makes you wonder why the drop when BD has so much space?
The film is a masterpiece as cinema - but factually dubious at times in the finest Hollywood tradition which knocks off a half star for me. I don't have a problem with Stone suggesting theory, but distortion of the truth presented as fact isn't acceptable.

Optimal bit-rates > extras. That's likely the order of their priorities.Markgway wrote:According to DVD Times the BD is missing the extras from the UE DVD 3rd disc. Not that I would bother about them - a doc on the Kennedys I think - but makes you wonder why the drop when BD has so much space?
Do remember that HD material still takes a lot more space than SD material on DVDs, even it is encoded with efficient codecs, using modern compression techniques.
