That ATOZ restoration looks stunning.
According to the comments below (on the page Mark posted) Eureka/MOC will also be releasing ATOZ.

They're just the distributor. It's been restored by L'Immagine Ritrovata same as Dragon Inn

The Mandarin was fine. There was no English dub. Here is partially what I wrote on KFC (I posted a medium length review here):HungFist wrote:...

This is my favorite release of the Shout! set and the second time I have seen the film. There are two strong releases with this and Beach of the War Gods (funny enough I watched this right before seeing the battle-centric The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.) There is no English dub for this though the rest of the films have one. Not a negative for me since I'm just happy this is out and the Mandarin release sounded good to me.

Maybe I'll buy it then. It's been ages since I saw it, and I never saw the other films in the set.

The reason I like Wang Yu's Shaw output is because you don't need to be a fan to enjoy them.
The stuff he did for Harvest (including the indies) you really need to be a fan of his.

Re: Asian Movies in HD!
I generally agree with this and it certainly helps being a fan, but there are several titles I like from Golden Harvest (The One-Armed Boxer (1972: Jimmy Wang Yu)) and several I do not (The Tattooed Dragon (1973: Lo Wei), A Queen’s Ransom (1976: Ting Shan-hsi)).Markgway wrote:The reason I like Wang Yu's Shaw output is because you don't need to be a fan to enjoy them.

I am a Wang Yu fan, especially his One Armed Boxer films. His weakest output of his heyday are definitely the snooze fests Lo Wei made with him in Japan - I still can't work up the effort to see Queen's Ranson.

It's not. Just another example of the very worst Golden Harvest output in the mid-70s.HungFist wrote: How is Stoner related to Wang Yu?

I like Stoner for its cheesiness, but it's kind of alarming how shoddy it is considering it could have had a fair stab at the international market. Same for Slaughter in San Francisco.

I've also seen it. It is quite awful. I gave it the lowest rating I have given a non-Bruceploitation film in years. Re-reading my review (I also mentioned Stoner): "This movie makes Stoner seem competent."Ivan Drago wrote:... I still can't work up the effort to see Queen's Ranson.

But again, it's one I quite enjoy. A Man Called Tiger and Seaman No.7 are the worst Lo Wei's I've seen - extremely slow and dull, and not goofy enough to offset that.

I think Conan O'Brien used it on his show once.
