:D The problem is that all the Russian guy has to do is spend another 20m or so when someone is injured.. ;)
Should be a good game - remember it tooka fluky (IMO) goal for them to beat Arse at home...
Its early on in the season and lots can happen.
In 93/94 Newcastle won the first 6 games but still lost the league to man u. A few years ago Man U had their worst start ever to the season (were in 9th place?) but still won it.

Yeah, the Chelsea-Arsenal game at the start of the season was 'close', but not in a good way: Both teams played like utter shit, and neitehr team deserved the win. The lousy fluke goal by Drogba made it even more horrible. I was in HK at the time, and I watched it at my friend's Internetcafe, so I even had to pay cab-money to watch it, as it finished after 12 o clock at night, and there were no more busses riding... :(

I really hope Wenger will get some sense and start playing Bergkamp again, as there's a whole difference between an Arsenal WITH Dennis, and an Arsenal without him.

I really hope Chelsea starts dropping some points, but I actually don't think either Man Utd or Arsenal can win it this year, as they've been pretty mediocre thusfar. Man Utd have the best chance to compete with Chelsea, though, as they now seem to have fixed their defence.

I HOPE Arsenal will start playing like they did 2 years ago, but it's hard when you see them struggle like they do lately...

I think Wenger wants to win in Europe more, he's won the League etc too many times ;)
Yi do you have Pires in your team? Wondering whether to swap him for someone as he hasnt done much? :?

No, don't have Pres in my team. I believe I have Hleb in my team though, although I'm not 100% sure...
Pires has the same problem as Dennis: Wenger feels he's to old, so Wenger doesnt play him enough ... which is a shame cause Pires has a very good season last year, evenm though he didnt play much...

And I'm slipping in front!!! YEAH!!!

And I transfered myself out of quite a few points as well... with this team I brought in N'Gobia of Newcastle who got 3 points, and sold out Miller of Sunderland who got 10...

And with another team I changed my captain from Murphy of Charlton who got 15 this week, to Gallas... who got 2. D'oh!!!!

Instead of making Lampard my captain I gave it to Bent, who only got 2. D'oh! :(
I've made Lampard my captain for next week.

Who do you think I should bring in for Martyn (Everton) as their defence is leaky and I want to sell him? I was thinking of Robinson (Spurs) but he's too expensive, it doesnt give me enough money to buy Henry back when I sell Drogba.
What about Jaskerlinen (sp?)

Any ideas? :?

If you are looking for someone who looks like decent value, I htink the Bolton keeper could be good, or even the Charlton keeper. The latter is only £4m, and given how Charlton have been doing, that's not bad.

I, personally, went for someone among the more sure fire high scorers - Van Der Saar. Now that he's with a decent team, he should do not bad at all!

But I guess it could all turn pear shaped for Charlton soon as well!

I actually went with the Fulham keeper as he was only £4.2m and he's got a comparable total to Jaaskelainen, and also made a lot of saves so far (every 3 saves a keeper makes gets 1 point). Even in the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal he wound up with 8 points.

Arsenal 0-0 Birmingham (so far)

One Brum player was sent off but Pires has missed a penalty for Arse so I lose 3 points (I think). Poo :(

I'm doing pretty good, considering I've only joined the league after 2 or 3 matches or something... starting to close the gap, although I really cant see myself ever getting enough points to reach the top 3. They had too big a head-start, sadly :'(

He isn't.
I'm thinking I won't need to buy Henry back at the mo, Lampard is working wonders, and Drogba has scored twice against Bolton (so far).
I bet teams are wondering what the hell they have to do to beat Chelski, especially as Bolton held the lead for quite a while.

Whats the West Brom-Arse score?

Arse 1 W Brom 2 :o

Poo.
Oh well. I doubt Arsenal win the league this season, especially as Chelski are playing so well, but there isnt much between them and the clubs above them (Wigan?!) so once Hemry comes back they could start winning again :D

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!

But you shall never challenge me!!!

I'm half way around the world, yet I still win this week!!! Yaaaaaarrrr!!!!

Was looking to see what transfers I could make this week, and I just could find any!! Would love to have Murphy in my team though, but no one to sell for him... I think. Will have to have another look.
