Huh? You could chose between many different control types in "Golden Eye". You could even chose to play via 2 controllers (which I never understood how my brother played that way so bad ass).

What is digital aiming? Like auto aim?

Yeah, and you aimed on Goldeneye with the analogue stick and by pressing one of the c-buttons (I think).

Damnit! I got an email by Amazon today which informed me that the Wii is available for pre-order now. I saw that email when I was outside. I got back home and wanted to pre-order it and it was already out-of-stock! WTF? Pre-ordering freaks.

When there are so many units being made there are going to be some people having issues with any system, i myself have had PS2, XBOX, PSP, 360 and every other console since day one and not had any problems.

Nintendo have always released quality products, and with the wii being so cheap you really cant go wrong.

I have a US Wii ready to be collected on the 19th with Red Steel, Zelda and a component cable for HD. One of the benefits of having my mum living in USA.

When i get back on December the 2nd, i will come back to my Wii, Rainbow 6 Vegas for 360, Call of Duty 3 360, Gears of War 360 and my HD DVD drive for my 360!!! Woo Hoo!!

Twighlight princess looks fantastic, i intentionally avoided the video's and reviews as i did not want anything spoiled but i caved recently and have been reading and watching everything.

My Wii will be picked up on Sunday with Red Steel, Zelda, Wii play and a component cable.

By the way, check out this IGN article about some of the drawbacks of the Wii. Most of them could be improved with future firmware updates, but is Nintendo reading this, too?

its my birthday on sunday(my 26th) and i'm getting metroid prime 2 for the GC, so that should pass the fortnights wait. Actually thanks to the Wii i've been playing quite a few of my gamecube games again, really enjoying battellion wars, so looking forward to the Wii sequel

Damn... WTF? I just came back from the store. I came there 30 minutes before it opened. There was a huge crowd waiting. Me and my mate pretended to know nothing about the Wii, wondering why there were so many people waiting. Our camouflage was successful, he he he! As soon as the store opened people stormed into the store. I swear to God, it took about 45 seconds until all the Wiis were gone. I got mine (two of them actually) and my mate got one as well. We each got Wii Play as well, but the nunchucks and the classic controllers were gone. I documented it all with my mobile phone video camera. Will upload the video soon. Stay tuned.

well got to my shopping centre this morning where we have 2 GAME's and a HMV.
Hmv's line was long, downstairs GAME had about 20 people as did the upstairs one b4 opening. as soon as it opened as the line went down by one, at least 3 people would join it, when i came away an hour later the line was still out the door.

Got Wii play, Zelda and a nunchuk, Hey LD two of them!!!!, is it just me or is the Wii box incredibly heavy, how did you cope?

I then did the tour of town around all the shops, alls the shops here are sold out, and only woolworths had Wii play left in (a bargain at £31), and very few shops having nunchuks left

My Wii is now put away ready for xmas.

LD, looking forward to your vid, also maybe we shoud set up a thread so all us Bullets can post our Wii Friend codes for Mii parade hilarity and future online gaming

Ahh, the advantages of having someone who works on the inside... my brother had his Wii set aside, along with Red Steel, Zelda, CoD3, Wii Play and a nunchuck yesterday, so there was no fooling this morning (although cos we're both sleepyheads, we got there at about 10.30 instead of the 8.00 that we'd planned

)
We just sauntered past the queues to the till and got it all paid for

. Not too bad a price either for all that lot: £170

'Course, I didn't get to play until this evening, cos I had bloody work to go to, but you know, you can't have everything

Should I sell/pawn my old SNES games in anticipation of the Wii Virtual Console? I guess it depends what the line up is.. eg Super Mario All Stars was one of the best compliations ever IMO
