I advise you not to do this, because you'll lose the warranty.

What's so funny?
I'm mostly asking why I can't see LD (or anyone else) on my Wii yet, I thought I typed his ID in. It would be nice if we could play online together.
I was trying to "type" that on my Wii using the Internet channel, I may get rid though.

Try connecting your Wii to the internet, Grim.

Is the plug in? :D

Seriously, though, I added your Wii ID number a week ago or so. Let me check in a minute.

Still playing Battlefield 1943. I play exclusively as a sniper.

Just had a very nice and respectable score (for a sniper) on Wake Island: 14 kills, and only 1 death. Also had a whole bunch of 'assist-kills', so that went well.

Usually, Wake Island isn't the best map for sniping, but occasionally you get lucky and don't get caught too often.

Brutal Legend is coming out this week, but I don't think I'll buy it for full price. Demo was fun and enjoyable, but not a MUST PLAY RIGHT NOW!!! title for me.

It does, apart from some minor annoyances, and a shite website...

Yeah, I can't see my stats on the website, which is a bit annoying. I want to know how near 100 matches I am. I want to get 1943 done & dusted, then I can move onto Battlefield Bad Company full time...

You've still not done 100 matches!?

I already got all the achievements, which were very easy for this game btw, but I just keep returning to it for a quick fix.

I was thinking of getting BF:BC, but I'd rather wait for BF:BC pt 2.

Right now I was just playing GTA4 again, which remains a brilliant game :)

Yeah, I've been spending all my life on Ninja Gaiden II lately. But its paid off - I finally got my last achievement in the game, so I have the total 1250G now. :)

I'm ready to start playing other games. Ninja Gaiden II can take a back seat for a little while. I still haven't even played 30 matches on BF 1943! Those are the the last 2 achievements I need though.

BF: BC is a great game, I got it for £9.99 very recently. Definitely worth picking up at that price to fill in the time before BF: BC 2 arrives...

Just had a very nice and extremely long snipe at Iwo Jimo: I was on the hill at Iwo Jimo, so pretty much at 1 end of the map, and in the extreme distance I saw a little dot getting into the 'canon', all the way over at the other side of the map, on the mountain (Suribachi or something?), so at the extreme opposite side of the map, and I sniped the bastard in the head :D

Not bad, considering I'm playing on a lousy SD-TV :D

I think that must be pretty much the longest snipe I made in the game :)

I finished Resident Evil 5 on PC the other day with a mate playing online co-op. Great game IMO, it's basically RE4 in a new locale, but with better graphics and slightly refined gameplay (nothing drastic though), but I have no complains since RE4 was an amazing game. The PC version in particular is amazing, aiming with the mouse is orgasmic - I was consistently getting A and S rank for Accuracy. It runs at a constant 60fps in DX10 mode on my rig @ 1680x1050, maxed out - so the development team must've done an amazing job optimising the code.

I've started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on PC. It's quite good thus far. The visual effects that they added to the PC version look superb, really adding to the game's atmosphere. It's a joy to hear Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill and Arleen Sorkin in their iconic roles once again. To this day I still consider Conroy and Hamill to be the definitive Batman and Joker respectively.

Over the past month, I've had a lot of fun playing Red Faction Guerrilla on PC. Definitely one of my favourite games that I've played this year, along side Fallout 3 and Dead Space. Destroying buildings and causing general explosive mayhem never gets old in that game.

Been playing GTA4 this week, but I'm now at the final mission and it's a complete bitch, and mostly because it's just annoying.

First a boring chase, followed by a massive but extremely easy shootout, after which Pegrino takes a boat and tries to escape. You have to follow him on a shitty bike, and land in a helicopter to continue to chase. The problem is first that the whole thing is just boring, and at the end it's just fucking annoying with the shitty bike and your chopper getting shot out ofthe sky etc etc.

Will try again later, but it really just ruins the whole experience that came before this...

edit: got it. :)

I've been playing on some old MegaDrive classics on my PSP at work: Sonic, Sonic 2, Ristar, and Vectorman mainly, ahhh nostalgia, still great games too! :)

I desperately want them to release another compilation for it, even though I've got more MegaDrive games for my PS3, I prefer to play on them on my PSP. Also would love it if they released Earthworm Jim 1 & 2, come on Sonyyyy.

I've been playing Final Fantasy IV, emulated on my PSP. Good game, better than PS1 series entries and newer.

I had a problem with that mission too, you gotta keep the helicopter at the right altitude. If you fly too high you fail the mission. The helicopter being shot was a part of the scripted cutscene.

Hey LD, I've accepted your XBL friend invite.

I've finally got my PC back, so I'll be finishing off Borderlands. Fucking fantastic game that, I missed playing it.

I'm in the middle of the following:-
Red Faction: Guerilla
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Dragon Age: Origins

I'll finish them up them in that order, after Borderlands.

EDIT: Oh shit, I forgot that Mass Effect 2 is due at the end of the month. I had better finish off my last playthrough of ME1 so that I have a save to carry over to ME2.
