Just a few things I spotted:
36th Chamber of Shaolin
http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.540 ... etails.htm

Last Hurrah For Chivalry
http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.541 ... etails.htm

Snake and Crans Arts of Shaolin
http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.540 ... etails.htm

Crime Story
http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.541 ... etails.htm

The artwork looks obviously temporary. Lets hope they all come out on time!

Well, the Crime Story one, sadly, looks like it may be the final art. And of course... it looks like ass. Now, if they try to use another of the infamous "black shirt Jackie" pics for Snake and Crane... ugghhh...

LOL Crime Story looks utterly laughable. Its basically the back cover art for PS2!

If they get '36th Chamber' right (Mandarin Mono, Progressive, subs) I'll double dip.

No need for the others as Snake & Crane I'm not mad on, Crime Story I have from Joy Sales and Last Hurrah I'll pick up the HKL when it's cheap.

I dread to think what the richly coloured Shaws would like pinkified.

What's different about the Joy Sales "Crime Story" Mark as opposed to HKL?

No offence, but pray tell why you couldn't edit your first post instead of making another one 2 minutes later?

*Resists temptation to make an "apologizing" joke :D
For the record I see no rule against accidental double posting ;)

I can't wait for Hard-Boiled either! Miaramax was supposed to realease it DTV back in 2000-01 along with City on Fire and Prison on Fire but only COF was released.

And R1 COF was an awful dub only butchered cut. Better that they released it now instead. Plus if they had released it then, Disney would own the rights to the film and not Weinstein, thus we'd have no DD release of the film.

I actually thought the dub for City On Fire was pretty decent, even though the script has been totally rewritten. I actually saw the Dimension "Prison On Fire" on Telemundo once--dubbed in Spanish of course.

My understanding is that Disney only owns what was released theatrically - Supercop, Iron Monkey, Drunken Master II etc

Yes, I assume you're correct. We probably won't see any of those mentioned titles from DD unless they decide to co-author a DVD like for instance : SUPERCOP disc 1 - Miramax cut, Disc 2 - Original HK cut or something like that. DD did repackage Miramax's Infernal Affairs in the IA box set so you never know; it could happen.

And I hope they'll finally give Dragons Forever a DVD release.

The HKL is fine. Don't expect to see an uncut version from DD, since it'll be sourced from the FS master.
