Evidence? A bit of ignorance there, methinks.
What have you read, only the good things obviously.
A little research will show you the bad effects of it, just becuase you have not had them happen to you and have read some posative stuff means bugger all.
It does many people damage beyond words, including fucking up your brain. There is massive evidence out there showing you this, you choose to ignore it all.
Wrong. So the scientists on Horizon recently with their up-to-date knowledge on the matter were bullshitting then, Romero? And no I didn't just take it from them, they merely cemented the matter in my mind, as I had already researched it thoroughly. THE BAD STUFF IS FROM ABUSING THE DRUG.
Gasteropod has already posted he's tried illegal drugs and watched documentaries about it
Most drugs only cause actual harm if you abuse them, that's not to belittle anything. I'm just pointing out a quick drag of Cannabis isn't going to fuck you up.

Although you're half-right, there are definitely harmful drugs. Aerosols for instance can kill you in one go, and cocaine harms you each time you use it.
Romero thinks that I have just searched around looking for reasons to use ecstasy and ignored all the negatives, but that's not the case at all, I research drugs before deciding whether it's safe to try them basically, and ecstasy is one drug which really is 'practically harmless'. I don't think I'll ever try cocaine despite the fact a few of my friends regularly use it and I've been offered it.

WRONG as usual, get your facts right.
Nope, you're really wayyyyy to extremists in your opinions on this matter, Rombo...
I would never touch drugs... but you should still remain honest and realistic, instead of basically lying and blowing it all wayyy out of proportion. No one benefits from a discussion where we arent just realistically discussing these issues.
We're NOT republicans.

Like I said earlier, Romero is an absolutist, meaning he's not capable of seeing there are different degrees of drug strengths. All illegal drugs are the same strength, as far as Romero is concerned. He's clearly not able to see the difference between using drugs and abusing drugs.
A quick drag of cannabis isn't going to fuck you up. I am correct saying that.

i was teetotal till i watched BR on the big screen back in the early 80's.when the credits rolled i headed for the nearest Yates wine lodge and started my downward spiral
I don't think I want to try drugs, but I think Brad and Gastero are right. Cannabis is addictive, it is harmful, but one joint of cannabis won't kill you, just like having a beer won't kill you.

Technically that's not even true. It depends on the individual. One person can smoke weed all their life and be fine, another can take one cig and it does irreperable psychological damage (that's what worries many scientists: the reactive unpredictibilities). We can clearly see that Brad falls into the latter category.

That's EXTREMELY rare.
That's like saying people shouldnt eat peanuts cause some people would collapse and die...

That's not why I'm 'acting like it's positive' at all! Heroin hasn't harmed me either but I'm not praising that am I.
