You can argue that the film by itself is a moral piece of work. But the way it's been sold most certainly isn't. And we wonder why teenagers are becoming more and more desensitised??
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has sent us full details for their upcoming Reservoir Dogs: 15th Anniversary Edition. Due on October 24th, the two-disc set will include a newly remastered anamorphic widescreen transfer (thank goodness, 'cause the last one sucked), Dolby Digital 5.1 EX and DTS-ES 6.1 tracks.
....
Retail is $19.98.
AH-HA, a new transfer! Fingers crossed they got the colours right this time and the RRP is only $19.98 USD, so it'll be cheap online. I will buy this in DDD November 20% off sale (along with the new R1 Scarface).
Bonus materials will include select scene audio commentary, deleted scenes, a "Pulp Factoids Viewer" featuring insider info about the film and sources of inspiration, a "Playing It Fast and Loose" documentary studying the impact and ripple effect of the film, "Profiling the Reservoir Dogs" (a perspective of the criminal minds of the film's characters) and "Tipping Guide" (proper tipping etiquette Reservoir Dogs style) featurettes, K Billy's Sounds of the 70s and vintage interviews with Quentin Tarantino and others. The packaging comes in a limited edition matchbook case with a photo gallery, along with an outer metal case in the shape of a gasoline can. Retail is $19.98.
I know but I just meant in the sense of tying the packing in with the theme of the film. Since when is Res Dogs meant for young teenagers Mark? Its' an adult film.
Well adult in america and adult in UK is different R rated films mean nothing at all to idiots in america who let children watch them at home or cinema! at least in the UK people dont let too many children watch 18 rated film and no wat they get into the cinema.
