Is Bond coming to either format soon? I have the SE's and I'm not bothering with the UE's given that they're all from new HD masters and have even been aired in HD this year.

As Eva says the Bonds are MGM/Sony/Fox titles which means BD.

Blu-ray Disc to be precise. BD has become the short form for Blu-ray (like DVD). It's BD or HD-DVD.
Eva then comes along and invents his own
(BRD), Blu-ray is being considered one word. I've no idea why it's Blu not Blue though.

Of course. You could say Digital Versatile Disc if you like too
. Remember back in the day it mean Video or Versatile 8)

It's a
commonly used acronym .
I've no idea why it's Blu not Blue though.
Memorable and unique branding that can be then trademarked would be the most obvious guess.

I'd "definitely" wait myself. The wait isn't "that" long.

My AAWIL arrived.
I was expecting a nasty big HD-DVD case but instead it's really thin and smaller than DVD cases. I really like it. I hope BD cases are the same.
I may pick up "Good Night, And Good Luck" next, pity that's £18.99 delivered
. I hear it's good though.

Have you seen "Good Night & Good Luck" Brad? imo it was a pretty decent film but without much rewatch value.

No but I hear it's good too. It and Lady in the Water (which is far to risky to blind buy at £18.99) are the only other two HD-DVD Combos I'm interested in.
Good Night, and Good Luck is also £18.99 but should be good. It's annoying Combos are so much. AAWIL at £15.99 is acceptable but £18.99 is pricey.
What 13 have you got? That must've cost you a fortune. It's been delayed again, until when?

Is that eBay.com? So you like Hulk then? It's a pity Superman 2: TC isn't being released on HD-DVD too.
Cheers btw

Well the Einsteins at Universal have done it again, the HD-DVD of Lynch's
Dune has ONLY the theatrical cut.
The Extended cut maybe a mess, but it should be there nonetheless since it was on the DVD.
Review .
