Romero says number 2 (Studio Canal BD) is the best release (I think he's solely going on captures? And is happy with the Extended Cut).

No idea if I am saying number 2 is best anymore as frankly I have given up caring once I kept the best version, I just know the UK first release Blu Ray is best for me (and many others), and I have owned pretty much all of them including the Japanese version and HD DVD. The UK won in the end over all other versions.

I think all companies involved in releasing the film should be stones in the streets myself
