Wow, there seems to be a lot of confusion in this topic.
Lourdes, maybe you should have looked back at your original post to see why Brad was confused.

You seem to state all three are NTSC to PAL, hence the confusion.
I think other people simply value different things about a DVD than you do. Some people don't care about those bag-load of extras on the Arahan disc if they don't know Korean. Some of your judgements also seem to be based on speculation. How would you know how the Kairo DD5.1 was done on the HK? How do you know if it's crap or not? Also I can't see how you come to the conclusion that the R4 Arahan is crap. Because MichaelDVD is crap?
Hey, does anyone know if there's an uncut Last Life DVD out there?
Nothing wrong with my original post, in the context the comma is a seperator and does not make a list.
R3HK of Kairo release is by Universe Laser, that's how I can tell. And I came to the conclusion that Arahan R4 was crap ages ago when I learnt that it was an NTSC>PAL conversion, that is bad full.stop. My comments on MichaelDVD were related to their praise of a disc which could not possibly be any good because it's an NTSC>PAL conversion. I don't care about any Arahan extras but if I cared about the film I'd buy the Korean DVD for decent video, deleted scenes and more unsubbed extras to watch, rather than pay for crap video and a small handful of the R3K extras which as I said aren't very interesting anyway. But hey whatever, if you don't care about video quality or missing extras and want to support a company that doesn't deserve any support then go for it.
No release of "Last Life in the Universe" is cut. So take you pick of R2J, R2UK, R3T, R3HK and R1.
I just thought I would add to this thread because after seeing the trailer for " my wife is a gangster " on the Premiere Asia DVD of Ong Bak, I thought it looked pretty good. Unfortunately this still hasn't been released and looking on the Premier Asia website couldn't even see a release date.
I'm just curious but out of those who've seen it have good is my wife is a gangster?

MWIAG is a very good little comedy with a few awesome action scenes choregraphed by Won Jin (the scorpion king).
The only problem with it is that it lacks rythm, and is nowhere near as good as its sequel.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
HK film of course.
He's the one who played the Scorpion-style master.

Well, it seems almost everyone here disagrees with this...but i much prefer a higher quality version of the film itself then a domestic release with inferior AV quality and a few english extras, even if they are somewhat interesting.
I buy a movie for the movie, not the extras. AV quality is #1 priority..IMO.
