I know all teens get acne - been there, done that - but if I were a pop star I would not go out without a ton of foundation knowing my mug is going to be snapped and plastered everywhere.
It's called acne, good on her for not plastering her face in foundation as Mark superficially suggests as the teenage girls out there who already fret enough about their appearance could do with few more celebrity teens exhibiting the same acne issues as they have.

Noooo!!! I see enough plugs in the street without having them in the media too. When I was a teen I at least had the shame not to take pics of my spotty mug (although I was lucky that my acne was relatively mild). Do we really want to see our pop idols (and I use that term advisedly) in such a sorry state? I'm sorry if this makes me shallow but I hate looking at acne - and whilst for most their face burgers are long forgotten poor Pixie is going to have that constant reminder of how horrible she once looked.

I'm not really 'lanky' now, and only 6ft tall (1,81 cm), so not too big either...
But until I was about 15, I was small as hell. You'd have kids of 12-13 coming into the school when I was 15, and I would still be smaller than them. Bastards. I think I was around 1,50cm's for a long while, until I shot up in height.

I never had much acne either beyond the occasional giant spot appearing on my nose, but that in itself was a miracle given my mother and both my brothers suffered from horrendous acne when they were teens! I'm also myopic but didn't need glasses until I was 18, never had a problem with height because I hit 6ft at 15, but I am a big fat bastard!

I'm about 70 kg's right now. Lost a lot of weight the last couple of months because of all the dental work, which makes it quite painful to chew certain food, let alone candy/chocolate/etc. Not lanky though.

Is 'being a midget' something you grow out of?
I hated wearing glasses at school.
Now I wear them all the time no bother.
Shit. I'm a fair bit heavier than Yi-Long (11 st) but much lighter than Shingster (20 st). I don't have a skinny build so even if I weighed less I'd still not be a beanpole like Brad or Pod (8 st).

I feel naked without them.
I've ALWAYS hated wearing glasses. I got them when I was about 6 or 7 at the exact same time I was moving to another city and school. It just totally sucked.
I got contacts when I was 14 or something, but they were hard ones, thus a huge pain... so I went back to glasses.
At age 18 or 19 I got soft lenses, which I still wear pretty much daily. I just absolutely hate wearing glasses. I don't even wear them when I only go outside to feed the ducks or something.

I was told I needed to wear glasses when I was about age 5. As you can imagine it's tough to get kids to wear them. At school the teachers were always 'reminding' me to put them on. By the time I got to high school I took them off between lessons (I mainly used them for reading or TV). When I went to college I just kept them on all the time. Since then they've become a permanent fixture on my face (and luckily I suit them). First thing I do in the morning... last thing at night. Feels weird without them now. Because of my particular ocular problem I can't wear contacts (which I'm told are a pain in the arse).
