POTC wasn't bad - it's enlivened by Depp's very funny high camp performance and is better than a film based on a theme park ride has any right to be.
2nd film was too long for me. Haven't seen the 3rd yet.
The 1st Matrix is very good, much better than the sequels. Reloaded was "okay" and I enjoyed it but it was disappointing next to Matrix 1. Revolutions was flerking schmit.
