Thanks Romero.

As it happens I bought it for £6.99 from BangCD a week ago last Sunday and they finally got around to shipping it yesterday. I'm off to demand my £2 refund!

I missed Bat for Lashes earlier this year but she's touring the UK again now and later on in the year:

I've just booked tickets for her Bristol gig. I thought I better get in quick before they've sold out. I don't know anyone else who likes/knows her, so am going on my own. No harm doing that.

This is the official link but I wouldn't buy from them, they charge an extortion £4.80 transaction fee, even more expensive given that the ticket is only £17. I've bought mine direct from the venue's website. There's only the usual £1 + 75p postage charge there.

Cool, I'm off to 10 Years of ATP in Minehead in December to see Deerhoof, Battles (awesome last time), Fuck Buttons, Shellac, Tortoise and many more, should be good. My mate just randomly bought the tickets and text me saying I'm off with him, without even asking me hahaha, I had to quickly try and wrangle my way out of work (very difficult in December with it being retail), and funny how he just assumes I'll be happy to pay the £160

I don't have a clue who any of those bands are or what "10 Years of ATP" is :D.

I hope I've got a good seat. You can only choose between the balcony (no thanks) or stalls, not an actual seat. I hate the balcony anyway but I especially don't want it, if I could be at the side.

I'm pretty sure it's first come, first served.

Ahh that was the good thing about when I went to see her and the band, no seats :D so I just got their early and got the best place in the building standing at the front leaning on the barrier about 4 foot away from her.

Is Bristol close to you then? much to travel for you?

Nope. It's 45 minutes by car and 15 minutes by train. Obviously I'll get the train. I can go after work without any hassle. I would travel to her but that means London for Cardiff for me.

Bristol is my closest city of any size. There's seats at the Colston Hall.

I know. It's great. Instead of turning into a trip. I can go to the gig no hassle.

Yes I've got a seat number but I cannot find a plan with the numbers actually on it. Not that I can change it either way. I'd prefer not to know.
