Yi-Long wrote:That's complete bullshit. I'm pretty easy to please. I just want the movie to have decent video and sound, and be uncut and subbed. That's ALL. And I've always been very clear about it.
That's 90% of DDs output. Why are you still pissed at them then?
Yi-Long wrote:Like with Ong-Bak? Where the asian versions werent allowed to have english subs on them!?
Yawn, you cite one example and think it's gospel.
Yi-Long wrote:Aw ok... and how is the transfer for the uncut version? Is it as good as the cut version, or did they not care about a good transfer for that version? Doesnt it have ANY extras? On which disc are they? On the disc with the cut version or on the disc with the uncut version?
When will you accept DD is not the same as the films Weinstein used to release?
It's the same quality on both discs. It is a bad example though as the UK DVD is better.
Yi-Long wrote:Aw oki, that's good news for the R1 fans. Well done to Dragon Dynasty on that release.
Shock horror wait for it Yi the DD release of Born to Fight is a world best. It's a 2 Disc SE beating both the UK and Australian DVDs! I better you'd find a fault with it though.
Yi-Long wrote:Again, I am not against Dragon Dynasty, but I AM against cutting movies, supposedly for an international/western audience. And let's be honest, Weinstein has a habit of cutting movies.
Like I keep saying (but you keep ignoring) Weinstein DOES NOT run DD. He is the ultimate boss but he has no involvement with the day to day running.
Weinstein's cut DVDs which you keep bring up where released over 5 years go. It's NOT the same company!
