If it wasn't we're talking about a really shity teacher.

She says she didn't (and I believe her because these kind of weird PC crimes are becoming increasingly commonplace)

Because in today's Britain they don't have to. If you even asked you'd be shut down as a racist (and probably arrested to boot).

Thats surely an exaggeration Mark, if she complained "nicely" and the teacher said that was racist or whatever, and just told her to get on with her work, then is a pretty shitty teacher IMO. In effect she's being asked to do all the work herself (or may as well) because no one knows what others are doing. How is that fair?

No, when she complained she was sent out the room and into isolation for the rest of the day. About a week later the Police went to her home and arrested her. Obviously all the rapists and murders in the UK have now been caught. Who knew?

It was a group project(!)

And I can't say I'd be happy sitting in class next to people who didn't speak English either. Guess that makes me some kind of Nazi? Oh, wait, I think one of the Asians spoke some English, and had to translate what the others were saying - back and forth. A piece of absolute nonsense. That children raised in the UK cannot speak fluent English is a bloody disgrace and that point is getting overlooked.

Heard yet another case of the veil being in the news - it was of a Muslim woman wearing a veil while she was in court, she was a barrister or something I think. The judge asked her to remove the veil as he couldnt hear what she was saying when she had her mouth covered (seems fair enough to me TBH).
With possible ID cards being introduced here, for women who choose to wear the veil it renders the ID card useless, so will they made exempt from having a card, thus pissing other people off, or be made to remove the veil, thus annoying some in their own religion? You can't win.

All I can say is  This has been done to death now.

You can wear what you want in private... but when you're in court or classroom you abide by the rules that are set out for everyone's benefit.
