Post on DVD Forums if it's not here by then (I suspect it will be in one shape or another). Which btw I don't believe they block Wanadoo acconts, which are easy to setup and free.

Hi LD,

Only just been able to register. :D

I am very jealous (not in a malicious way though), but also happy for you to have gotten the chance to be working on a film. Everyone has to start somewhere, and it looks you may have got your foot in the door so to speak. :)

Good luck, and I hope to hear more about the film in 2005. :)

One more thing......have you airbrused Bey's cigarettes from the pictures this time? :D ;)

Thanks Bruce!

You're right, everyone has to start somewhere, and I feel so lucky that my very first professional project is connected to HK film makers, the place where most of my favourite films come from.

Things look great at the moment and yesterday we got great news from HK which really gave us power for the next year.

I'll keep you updated.

And no... Bey wasn't smoking in HK. I guarantee you this.

I hadn't read this thread til now ... I am so impressed! I wish I had some sort of job connecting me to HK cinema or asian cinema for that matter.

The closest I come is I am a movie journalist for one of the newspapers here in OZ which gives me a chance to interview some actors and directors from time to time and also attend some big movie premieres (when invited) - the last one was Blade:Trinity. But I have lost a lot of the enthusiasm I once had for "Western cinema." Would rather be involved in making films and behind the scenes rather than writing about them. But I do get excited when I get the chance to interview some of my more favourite stars. I once got to meet my Asian Idol Jackie Chan, but that was by accident not business - but thats another story.

Like you LD I do get my stuff signed also - Usually my movie posters (got heaps, and no I would never sell any)

Good Luck LD with it all ... and yeah I am jealous.:D:D:D

Thanks for the kind words, SpiDER!

Whoa, you got to meet Jackie? I wish I had met him. He was here in Germany 3 times during the past 3 years and I always missed seeing him. He even came to my home town, but I was in Jordan at that time. And when I went to Hong Kong, Jackie was in Germany, he he he! See the irony. Maybe I am destined to never meet him.
