Exactly! There's a French DVD. There are NO English friendly DVDs period.

All Korean DVDs are the DC AFAIK.
They're just English HOH subs, they should've included standard subs too but after at least 2 releases they didn't. It's not a big deal at the end of the day.
Okay so you have a point Tom a DVD of the TC would be pretty silly, that music is awful. I also heard it cut "My Girl" out too.
I wouldn't want to upgrade "just" for extras (but then again an English friendly DVD would really be deserved). It's the DC I saw in the cinema in Thailand then on Korean DVD. Why the director when with such rubbish music originally is beyond me.
The director originally made a 137 minute version of this movie. The studio made him put in certain Korean songs in the movie, so he did. This is the movie as on the EDKO release. Then the studio thought 137 minutes was too long. So they made the movie shorter. This is the theatrical version. After the success of the movie, the studio told the director he could release the 137 minute version on DVD. The director said: "Great! Can I also replace some songs?" So he did, and this is the Starmax release.
So, it seems that the director wasn't happy with the original music in the first place but was forced to use it...
