V For Vendetta - 4/5

This is the second time I've watched (the first time was at the cinema) and I found it to be a really well made film. The entrance of V from the outset sets up everything that you are about to see; it's meant to be theatre, a spectacle. Some would say it's preachy, but I think it's just a possible nightmare future-vision. And we all love those, don't we? ;)

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is great fun. Some of the lines are so funny, like when Harry asks Gay Perry if he's still gay and Perry replies, "Nope, knee-deep in pussy. I just love the name so much I can't get rid of it." :D And his constant references to his tiny Derringer gun...
It was released last year... I think :?

It´s a great film, isn´t it Brooce? For me it´s Leone´s best film, even ahead of Once upon a Time in America.
You´ll love the big showdown!

It's probably the best Western in the world (However I've not seen too many).

You know, if you've seen the original, the "Piss Piss" part would work, actually! :D

Returner (2 out of 5)

It's like E.T. meets The Matrix, with a dash of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. :D

Blue Swallow - 3/5
I was REALLY excited to see this after viewing the awesome trailer a few months ago. I was alittle let down. Great production, acting, locations, and exciting flight scenes. Unfortunetly, the film is burdened by a poor script and inexperienced director. The film moves along very slow yet does not explore several very important issues with the story. Overall a good film, but could have been soooooooooo much better with this awesome subject matter.

Pay it forward - 4/5

i think i mentioned before that kevin spacey is one of my favourite actors...but this film is very cool, the whole concept of the movie rocks, and the way they created it plays it pretty perfectly. they cast great actors/actresses, ones who could pull of the part almost spot on...there were a few little things that stop it being a 5/5 but nothing major, but definatley a cool movie..

Don't mean to double post or monopolise the thread, but come on then, 'Shen', if that is really your name... why Spacey, eh? Eh?! :D

The rest of you, just ignore us and keep reviewing as normal, would you? Thanks :)

See my second post after your review. Just because I think he's a good actor, doesn't mean that I want to nosh him off or anything. (Sorry if some of you thought that was too graphic; Shen's a little immature, and it's the only imagery she understands :P)

And it's sick people like you that take advantage of innocents like me. Just because you've got the cash, you think you can make poor people dance to your tune. Yes, it's true, I need the money, and yes, I have no self-esteem, but that doesn't give you the right to take advantage of me like that... I can't even afford the counselling I'm going to need to help me get over this... A vicious cycle...

You're as bad as Lance Henriksen in Hard Target. In fact, you're worse: at least he gives his pawns a clean death...

Oh, and if any mods feel the need to shift this inane conversation somewhere more appropriate then you have my blessing. This thread is so far gone, someone needs to step in... :D
