Green Zone UK BD (not the Tin) £10.99 - 3 copies:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/370433674201
Maybe not a "bargain" but definitely the cheapest I've seen it. I've just picked it up for the same price from another seller.

Thats a good price.
Very good price on Toy Story as well.
I hope the DVD extras of Evil Dead are present (I have the Anchor Bay SE - I think).

The latest Star Trek is £9.34 delivered when used with this code FTSL15-1...apparently this one rarely seems to be cheap anywhere

WOW! Thanks. I've been after this ever since it was released but is never remotely cheap, until now. It's because it's a 3 Disc release, with one of those dumb digital copies. I've already used that code and cannot find another, so paid full price. I'm not hanging around to find out the price goes up.

You can use the code as many times as you likebradavon wrote: I've already used that code and cannot find another, so paid full price. I'm not hanging around to find out the price goes up.

I guess I could've done that but I don't like having stacks of accounts on the same retailer. You're just asking to have your ID nicked. I'm saving up my club card points but thanks. I've no idea how many I've got, much check.

@ Salty: No way. Thanks. Mine has now shipped from Tesco.
@ Romero: What needs explaining? I'm unsure if you're being serious.

You are just being so paranoid to even say such an insane thing.bradavon wrote: @ Romero: What needs explaining? I'm unsure if you're being serious.
If you seriously think someone will nick your ID because you set up a few Tescos accounts?
Do you even leave the house for fear of being shit on by a bird (and I don't mean a slapper haha).

Re: The General DVD/HD Disc Bargains Thread!
Don't you have hundreds of accounts on stacks of retailers though? It's heard of that some retailers store the link from your PC to their database using SSL encryption but the database itself is unencrypted. Once you're in, it's glory days.
The simple answer being I'm not interesting in having multiple accounts, each with credit card details for such a small saving. I buy so few discs nowadays we're probably taking about a fiver saved over a year. I've not completely but I've kind of grown out of it. I've only bought 12 DVDs/BDs since February (none in January). 12 discs in 8 months is a hell of a lot less than I used to buy.
There are loads of BDs I want that come out in October though. What on earth is it with releases and October? Obviously (almost) none I'll be getting in October, wait for prices to go down. I do have Seven on pre-order though.

Easily solved, you don't click the box that says store card detailsbradavon wrote:The simple answer being I'm not interesting in having multiple accounts, each with credit card details for such a small saving.
October is fine for me as I got in early at Tescos for some of the bigger ones (Alien Set), and the rest I can wait till they are soooo low in sales.
I need to stop buying anything online mind you, never mind Blu Rays

The Rocky Horror Picture Show - 19/10/2010
Apocalypse Now - 19/10/2010
Seven - 25/10/2010
November:
Moulin Rouge - 01/11/2010
Battle Royale - 15/11/2010 (Amazon.co.uk date)
I'm happy with my Alien Quadrilogy box set.

Re: The General DVD/HD Disc Bargains Thread!
Have to own Alien on BD-one of my all-time classics. i'll be getting
Alien Set
Back To The Future
Exorcist
Battle Royale
Beauty & The Beast
Iron Man 2 (need to see it again,it was a disappointment)
Toy Story 3
Predators
Lethal Weapon set
Seven Samurai
unless it's shown the Seven Transfer is much better than the excellent Dutch release i won't be getting it again. Not to obtain extras i have no interest in watching.

If I owned the Dutch BD, neither would I. I remember the extras being particularly good on Seven though, so waited.saltysam wrote:unless it's shown the Seven Transfer is much better than the excellent Dutch release i won't be getting it again. Not to obtain extras i have no interest in watching.
I forgot about Predators. I'll get that one too but way down the line.
