The same reason that there's normally a thousand different subtitle options on most R2 DVDs. Universal own the global rights (non-Asian) to the film, naturally they'll want to sell the same disc across Europe.saltysam wrote:not bothered about dubs but why a spanish & french dub option for the uk release

Good spot Eva I'd missed the HOH subs. I was going to buy this but probably will not now.
I'll wait to see the R1 and R4 at least, which I'm also guessing will be bare-bones but hopefully standard subs. Universal have really kicked themselves in the teeth by not also including English subs.

I presume that was a question and not a statement? No AFAIK it's the same cut with only the Thai version currently being longer.slasher13 wrote:by the way, they haven't cut anything out of FearLess from the original hk dvd?
Me too. I can't figure out why.sky75 wrote:whenever I've noticed the irish rating is usually higher than the UK.

At least it has the original Mandarin audio and not the Catonese dub.A barebones release, the film is presented in 2.40:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with Mandarin, French and Spanish audio (DD5.1 Surround) and English SDH, French and Spanish subtitle options.
ARGH, ENGLISH HOH CAPTIONS ONLY!

No you're not.
I don't care about HoH stuff.
All you gotta do is ignore the [ ] 's.

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
