Ally McBeal is okay, Millennium is pretty good but Murder One: Series 1 is outstanding. I remember that one. The balled guy was excellent. Didn't they change the format in Series 2?

The rest I've not seen anything of.

HD DVD's are now £2.99!!!!! with Quidco £2.70p!!!!!! staggering.

If I did not opwn them all,. I would buy them

Just bought 5 more for £2.70 each, cannot beat that sodding price! many brand new films at that price like Bourne Ultimatum!

Quickly as they sell out instantly. They keep restocking, but they do back t old prices for a bit then back down

I wish I could go back in time 8 months and not buy any haha then get emn all under £4.

Many of the £3.99 ones if you add them to your basket come up as £2.99 as well

Question: I liked The Fog and Halloween, would I likely like The Thing?

I've looked up it online and it looks like a Slasher Movie monster. I'm not sure it appeals. Despite being only £2.99 I still need to find time to watch it.

It's a shame 300 is still over £4 though

EDIT: I've gone for Elizabeth: The Golden Age. I was holding out for the USA Combo for the Lossless Audio but it's still stupidly expensive (£9-11) and the DD Plus is Full-rate, so should still rock.

bradavon, The Thing is not a slasher movie. Halloween is a slasher movie. The Thing is a tense & very claustrophobic horror film with some great suspense & shocks. Its probably my favourite horror film ever, with Halloween coming in a close second...

I just told you it wasn't a slasher movie! Look, The Thing is probably one of the best horror films ever made. For the £4 or whatever it is, just buy the damn disc!

Its a great film.

Calling 'The Thing' a slasher film is like calling 'Alien' a slasher film. I personally didn't enjoy The Thing, but it is generally highly regarded.

Like I keep saying, I still need to find the time to watch it. Thinking like that brought me to over 600 DVDs and at least 100 unwatched. I'm trying to be much tougher with my HD purchases.
